Scanners must have 64-bit support file

When running in 64-bit, acquiring an image requires 64-bit scanner drivers.

Some scanner drivers are only available in 32-bit. These scanners will not communicate with 64-bit.

These scanners will not be found and an error message is displayed:

"Scanners must have a 64-bit TWAIN file to function in 64-bit."

 

If you cannot find 64-bit drivers for your scanner, then try the following:

1. Use the scanner software to scan the image and save it to your desktop.
2. Import the image into the 64-bit program.
3. Use a third-party software to scan and transfer the image into the 64-bit program.
4. Install and use a 32-bit version of the program.
