Connect Digitizing Tablet

You can connect your digitizing tablet to EngraveLab without drivers.

Note: Digitizing tablets are only available in 32-bit. You must install the 32-bit version.

To connect a digitizing tablet:

  1. Go to Edit > Digitizing Setup.
    The Digitizing Tablet Setup dialog appears.
  2. Select your Digitizer type from the drop-down list.
  3. Select the Serial port.
  4. Enable digitizer if you wish to use it immediately.
    Note: Digitizers consume system resources. It is recommended to disable when not in use.
  5. Select to enable track pen.
  6. To restore the baseline of the tablet, click Reset Baseline.
  7. To set the baseline of the tablet, click Set Baseline. The baseline is the bottom of the object and the angle of the horizontal axis. To realign the baseline, click once on each side of an object to "draw" a line under the baseline.
