Calculating Costs

To calculate the cost of a job, set the costing values in Queue > Properties, and under the Other tab, select Costing.

To estimate job cost:

Once the queue is set for recording the cost data, the job has to be spooled to create an estimate cost.

  1. Go to Queue > Properties, and under the Other tab, select Costing.
  2. Right-click the job and select RIP only.
  3. Double-click the job, go to the Other tab, and click Cost.
  4. Save the cost information to a file.
    Note: Once the queue is set for recording the cost data, it can be set to create a .csv file with the information.
  5. Select Record Cost Data and click the ellipsis button (button) to select the folder to save the .csv file.
