Lock Queue Configurations

The Lock Queue Configuration option prevents users from modifying non-job-related settings which could affect output. This includes Print Mode Settings and Queue Properties. This option is ideal for keeping multiple workstations consistent once the settings have been appropriately set across them, or if multiple users are on the same workstation, preventing any accidental changes.

Once the Lock Queue Configurations checkbox has been toggled on, lock icons appear in various locations throughout the menus and workspace to inform the user they are working in a locked environment.

In addition to the ability to lock the print configuration, the feature is also supported by the ability to save and load existing queue settings. Once the queue has been configured as desired, navigate to Queue > Save Queue Settings. Name the file as desired and choose the save location. This file can serve as a backup in the event settings are unlocked and changed in the future.

To restore the queue settings from this file, simply navigate to Queue > Load Queue Settings, and select the previously saved file.
