Installing Windows-driven Queues in
In , you can install Windows-driven queues and you can install queues from in your Control Panel.
This means that you can add your existing printer manufacturer supplied printer driver in and it will show up as a queue.When using Windows-driven queues, Queue Properties options are limited and may be unavailable (such as print mode and media setup).
Windows-drivers only support RGB.
Note: Windows-driven queues are run by devices installed in Control Panel that use Windows drivers.
Follow the install wizard instructions.
- Go to Queue > Manage Queues.
The Queue Manager dialog appears. - Click the plus symbol.
The wizard appears. - To install a Windows-driven queue, click Control panel Queue then select a device, click OK.
- Enter a name and click Next.
The status bar shows the progress. - When all bars are green and check marks appear, click Next.
The Configuration Summary appears. - Click Finish.
Auto-installing printers in Control Panel
- Go to Tools > Options.
- Select Auto install printers in control panel.
Printers that are installed in will automatically be installed in the Control Panel.
