Laser Costing

Laser costing uses percentage coverage (number of prints based on % coverage).

To find configuration settings for the selected device, go to Queue Properties and select the Other tab, then Costing.

Material cost

Enter the operating costs in chosen units and per number of prints.
Click charge cost
Fuser cost
Transfer belt cost
Waste bottle cost
Color

Use the arrows to enter the:

  • Toner Prints
  • Coverage
  • Toner Cost
  • Drum Prints
  • Drum Cost
Average number of pages printed Select the page size.
Labor cost Use the arrows to select a value and use the drop-down to select a unit.
Tax 1
Tax 2
Time
Record cost data Select to enable cost data recording.
Location for cost data Choose a location on your computer to save cost data.
Notes Click to enter costing notes.
