ADA Module - Setup

The Braille Settings Dialog

The Braille Settings dialog as it appears when the ADA Module is present

  • Always displays in uppercase, even if the SHIFT or CAPSLOCK is disabled on the keyboard

  • Suppresses the leading "dot 6" braille cell(s) that would normally be associated with characters beingtyped in uppercase

  • Constrains closest distance of the translated braille from its host text

  • Constrains the minimum and maximum allowed text height

  • Displays a warning if user attempts to use a non-compliant font.

  • Translates braille onto a single line even if the host text is multiple lines.
