Backing Up Fiery LLC Files

Use the following procedures to back up your files. Always ensure you back-up locations are separate from the install directory.

In SignLab:


Fiery LLC.ini file

Go to the install directory and copy the file directly to a back-up location.


Clip Art

Go to the install directory and copy the Clipart folder to a back-up location.

C:\Fiery LLC\SignLab\Clipart


Driver Files

To find the driver files to back up:

  1. Go to Cut > PlottingDefaults.
    The Plot dialog appears.
  2. Click Setup.
  3. Select a driver in the list and press Alt + E.
    The Notepad opens and provides you with the name of the file to back up.
  4. Go to the install directory and copy the driver file to a back-up location.

Fonts

Go to the install directory and copy the Font folder to a back-up location.

C:\Fiery LLC\SignLab\Fonts (database files)

Also, go to C:\ProgramData\Fiery LLC and copy the Fonts folder (fonts storage) to a back-up location.


Palettes

Go to Options > Palette > Save > Save as. Select your temp folder and replace the * with a name, such as "mypalette" and click Save.


Shortcuts

Go to Options > Shortcuts > Export Shortcuts, choose a name and location, then click Save.


Toolbar

Right-click any toolbar, select all customized toolbars, then click Export, choose a name and location, then click Save.
