Measure Tools

The measure tools can be used to determine object dimensions and spacing.

From left to right:

Measurement: Measure the distance between two points by clicking on the workspace for a start and end point.

  • All objects: Select to measure all objects.
  • Selected objects: Measure selected objects.
  • Start (x,y) coordinates.
  • End (x,y) coordinates.
  • dx: Distance on x.
  • dy: Distance on y.
  • Angle between points.
  • Distance between points.
  • Desired distance between points.

Dimension: Measure the distance between two workspace locations. Click and drag and click to set measurement area.

  • Select line, arrow, or style type.
  • Adjust the pixel width of the measurement line.
  • Select measurement units.
  • Select measurement precision.
  • Swap the axis.
  • Set tip offset (offset whole dimension from object bounds)
  • Select decimal or fractional representation.
  • Select display font.
  • Show attribute
  • Lock dimensions.

Object dimension: Measure the height or width of the selected object.

Arrow Draw: Click to create note in specific location. Click to start and drag, then click to finish. Note is placed at end point (use free-form field for notes).

Notes: Free-form field for notes. Select font and size.
