Slice Tools

The slice tools can help divide objects and add cut patterns.

From left to right:

Open path: Select to subdivide selected object (leaves paths open).

Close path: Select to subdivide selected polygon object (closes paths).

Close path polyarc: Select to subdivide selected polyarc object (by editing polyarc path, slice is performed over entire selection).

Decorative cut: Select to create a decorative cut around the selected object (contours of shapes, and bounds of images).

From left to right:

• Select a cut type.
• Specify the length and height of the cut.
• Specify the offset and the color of the cut line.
