Plugin Dialog
When applying plug-ins to vector objects through the Image menu, the Plugin dialog appears.
- Choose from the following options.
- Input your preferences and click OK, Cancel, or Apply.

Inside (clipped) | Clips the plug-in bitmap to the original vector shape. Hint: Select to hide empty portions of the bitmap and to trim jagged edges. Note: An alternative to avoid jagged edges is scaling your vector art prior to applying the plug-in effect. |
Inside/outside (no clipping) |
Does not apply a clipping path. |
Margin amount | Specify the amount of empty space around the resulting plug-in bitmap. |
Image Quality |

DPI | Specify the output resolution in dots per inch. |
File Size | Specify the image size in MB. |
Bitmap source |
|
Use blank object | Select to use only the contour of the vector art shape. Fill color is white, unless otherwise specified (below). |
Blank Color | Select fill color. |
Use current fill | Select to use contour and fill color of the vector shape. |
Use selected bitmap | Select if vector is placed over a bitmap image. The plug-in is applied to the vector and the original bitmap is modified by the plug-in effect. |

Mask White | Select to create a 32-bit alpha bitmap with an opaque white 8-bit grayscale image (useful for creating an underbase). |
Transparency | Select to create a 32-bit alpha bitmap with an 8-bit grayscale mask layer for transparency. |
Note: Creates the alpha channel for a transparent image. |
